A vehicle display that blanks whenever a radio transmits is not necessarily suffering from a processor fault. The disturbance may enter through the power cable, a shared return path, or a converter that responds poorly to a rapid load change.
A bench supply reading can look perfect while the installed system fails.
The design brief should therefore describe the whole electrical and mechanical setting: source voltage limits, cable length, connector type, peak and inrush current, enclosure volume, cooling path, and nearby loads. Engineers evaluating custom military power supplies should begin with those conditions, not with a nominal input and output pair.
