Recycled Cotton Saves Resources

Recycled cotton is one alternative many companies opt for as opposed to disposal of the same. One of the most significant advantages of recycling cotton is that it prevents unnecessary wastages and is a sustainable option to the conventional disposal system. One of the primary sources of these recycled cotton materials is the secondhand clothing industry. Likewise, textile waste and leftovers contribute to another significant resource for recycled cotton. Most of the time, these cotton recycling results in the spinning of cotton and producing new fabrics and yarns. However, the quality of cotton coming from the recycling process is not par with the production of fresh cotton. Therefore the cotton that comes from the process of recycling goes in as a blend with a larger portion of the new cotton during the production process. Overall, industry practice is to recycle the cotton than to send it for disposal.
